Additional Bodum Brazil Glass 3-Cup Coffee Press, Black Information

The Brazil works on the same principle as all coffee presses. It combines coarse ground coffee with water that is just off of a boil. This combination along with 4 minutes of extraction time allows the oil and acids that give the coffee it's flavor to be completely extracted so you get a balanced and flavorful cup of coffee each time. After 4 minutes, just press and enjoy. There are no paper filters to soak up the oils, and cleanup is a snap. The 3 Cup Press is 12 oz and yields 3 - 4 oz. cups of coffee.

What Customers Say About Bodum Brazil Glass 3-Cup Coffee Press, Black:

The overall design is very poor. Just because the name says Bodum doesn't mean this press is a quality product. I would give this less than one star if I could. The handle is attached the the base and clean up is very difficult as the plunger is hard to get off since the handle is ALSO attached to the rim of the glass. This must be the worst press I have ever used. I used this for about three days and realized it was very a frustrating process to use this press.

I use a frother to prepare the soymilk before I pour the coffee into it. I LOVE this little press. I have saved a FORTUNE making my own lattes at home with this little beauty. The press does NOT make a crema, but the body & flavor of the coffee tastes right. I use it a few times a day - every day. You can make a single mug of regular coffee, or use less water and make espresso (1/2 cup of water to 2 tbs fine ground espresso of your choosing - brewed for @ 2 mins).

Very cheaply made, and I threw it out. Then it broke at the strainer part after maybe 5-6 uses. Do not waste your money. It says a 3 cup press.what a joke. Maybe T-cups.

One and only complaint - sometimes the press doesn't go all the way down and there's some water left in the bottom, so you have to pull up the press and re-press it down. I like this a lot, it is perfect for my one cup of tea/coffee in the morning.

I'll eventually buy one but in the mean time I bought the 48oz Bodum Chambord press. I'm not the only one with this problem.Bodum was cutting corners when they used a plastic pressure fitting instead of a metal threaded piece.I contacted Bodum and they told me to buy the metal piece they should have used in the first place that's standard on all their other presses for 2.99 + 5.99 (shipping). Its awesome. After about 9 months of use, the small plastic piece that keeps the filter screens in place begins to loosen and slide up the plunger rod. That makes the press useless.
